Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App
The Modoboa Mailserver DroboApp is a package that is a combination of multiple services and applications. These are pre-configured in order to automate any manual configuration that usually is performed with these opensource packages.

While Modoboa is the front end UI, all the services needed to get a fully functional mail server, are included within this package. Services such as SMTP and IMAP will give you the ability to have a mail server running that can be used to send and receive email.

Before installing the Mailserver App within Drobo Dashboard the following Apps must be installed, failing to do so will prevent the Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App service from starting:

(Python2)
This is a core dependency, the Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App will fail to start if this is not found.

For more information on how to manually install a Drobo App, please read the instructions at the following link:

http://www.drobospace.com/forums/showthr...http://www.drobospace.com/forums/showthread.php?

Below is a list of the packages that are part of the Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App

Dovecot [www.dovecot.org]
Version= 2.2.5

Modoboa [www.modoboa.org]
Version=1.0.0

Postfix [www.postfix.org]
Version=2.10.1

SQLite [www.sqlite.org]
Version= 3.8.0

Getting the App to install is as easy as clicking the Install button within Drobo Dashboard (assuming that the Python Drobo App is installed). Once the App has installed, it may take a few minutes for the first integration tasks to complete (1-2min Aprox).

To log in to the Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App, all you need to do is to click the "Configure" button within Drobo Dasboard. The webUI is also accessible by typing the IP:port on a web browser (e.g. http://172.32.16.10:8000). Please note that the default port for the Modoboa Mailserver webUI is port 8000, make sure that no other App service is listening on this port.

When logging in for the first time the following credentials should be used:

userrname: admin
password: password

Because this is a community supported App, this thread should be used to provide feedback and any improvements.

RE: Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App
Manually installed Python2. Installed Modoboa app, it won't start. The config page also won't load, I get a "failed to open page" error in Safari. Please help.

RE: Modoboa Mailserver Drobo App
Installed it and realized it wasn't what I was hoping for. Hoping there one day will be a simple service to fetch email from external accounts and host a IMAP server.

I did however found a bug when trying to add the Amavis frontend extension, if anyone know where I should post this feel free to point me there Smile

Code:
tried to post the bug output here but it gets marked as spam

Ok now what? How do I set up the server and make an email address?
